My system shuts off after extended use and the transformer is constantly tripping.

  • Make sure the transformer is wired correctly. A short or loose connection at any point in the system can cause tripping.
  • Are you overloading the system? Max. wattage of the fixtures should not exceed the transformer capacity.
  • If your system is dual circuits, make sure that the metal leads on the adaptors are evenly distributed to each circuit.
  • Check all fixtures to make sure they are securely attached to the adaptors and that the adaptors are securely attached to the system.
  • If your system is on a dimmer it must be a low-voltage magnetic dimmer.
